No Turning Back is a well-known name in the European hardcore scene, and are building a substantial reputation all over the world. In 8 years, this Dutch 5-some have recorded 3 minis, a split cd and 2 full-lengths, and are now presenting their new MCD Rise From The Ashes on Reflections Records and Bridge Nine Records.

Starting out in 1997 as 5 16-year old kids that wanted to play the music that their NYHC heroes had played in the early days of hardcore, No Turning Back gradually evolved to playing a unique style that is still mostly influenced by the original NY hardcore sound. Fast breaks, grooving riffs and massive singalongs accompany the personal and tortured lyrics, what proved to move crowds on virtually every show this band has played.

After releasing a demo and two mini CDs (The Beautiful Lies / The Horrible Truth) on their own, GSR Music was the first to bring these kids into the studio for their first full-length called Revenge is a Right in 2003. This record got things going for No Turning Back, and they toured Europe for the first time. In fall 2003, after they returned from recording 4 exclusive songs, of which a Breakdown cover, Reflections Records was eager to release it as a split CD / 7
