694 SILENCE THE FOE "Demo" (cd-r)

Have you ever been struck by lightning, and then felt an extreme rush for another electroshock? That's how Silence the Foe operates!!! The band is known for delivering a turbulent show while playing straight forward and catchy hardcore. The crowd just can't help getting blown away by their aggressive live appearance. It's more chaos than you can imagine.

This bandmachinery from the cold and uninhabited city of Trondheim, Norway, was born in March 2000. Since that they have urged to become an important part of the growing derground scene in Norway. Bands such as Refused, Roadside Monument and Frodus have influenced their style of music, and they have released a seven inch split with the now defunct band "The Hellbanned" and a Cd EP called "When summer turns to sand". The EP is produced by Tommy Akerholdt from the nerve-breaking rockband Silver, and it has received good critics. The songs on the EP can be described as aggressive metallic hardcore, but yet they were not afraid of mixing it with what some people choose to call emo.

The band went through some time of evolution after the summer of 2001, and the outcome was a new drummer and a more straightforward and catchy type of hardcore. (this was a real before/after experience for the band). With an outstanding collection of new songs the band ravaged European roads last summer. The tour was quite successful, and the band repeatedly demonstrated an ability to blow away audiences. STF has played with several major bands within the growing underground scene: Blindside, Plastic Pride, The Blamed, Darwin, Figure Four, Extol, Silver, Selfmindead, Kaospilot and others.

693 MORE THAN EVER "Silent and cold" (cd)

Debut Mini CD of this promising new Hardcore band from South Germany. MORE THAN EVER create their very own style of power, passion and melodies to a sound comparable to bands like Poison the Well and Shai Hulud. After several compilations, demo's and split-releases, this band has taken their sound to a new level on. While the band members have all their different personal musical backgrounds it is no wonder that the music of MORE THAN EVER contains a wide range from beautiful melodies to brutal heavy parts.
---------------------------------
MORE THAN EVER from South Germany began in fall of 2000. Since their first rehearsals the band was quite active making themselves a name in the scene through playing energetic live shows, releasing 2 Demo's on their own and appearing on several compilations and split releases. Playing as many shows as possible MORE THAN EVER shared stages with bands like Throwdown, Eighteen Visions, Norma Jean, Comin Correct, pole*, Born from Pain or Crisis Never Ends (just to name a few).

In the end of 2002 the band attracted the attention of Guideline Records with well written songs and a passionate liveshow. MORE THAN EVER is truly way more than what they call themselves a New School Hardcoreband. Their liveshows are power, passion, melodies, breakdowns and moshparts and what else do you need to have a good time at a hardcore show?

While the band members have all their different personal musical backgrounds it is no wonder that the music of MORE THAN EVER contains a wide range from beautiful melodies to brutal heavy parts. This German hardcore outfit finally found their direction and recorded their debut Mini CD 'silent & cold' for Guideline Records in spring 2003. If you are into bands like POISON THE WELL, SHAI HULUD, HOPESFALL or EVERGREEN TERRACE you should check out 'silent & cold' which will be released in July 2003.

For the near future a tour is in the talks and some headline shows are in the works. Expect a full length in 2004 on Guideline Records.
