» Biography

VALE TUDO is the number one hardcore band from Zurich City, Switzerland.

VALE TUDO was founded in March 2006 by five Zurich scene veterans with the shared affection for bone crushing mosh riffs and excessive barbecue sessions. Within less than a dozen boozed up rehearsals the first songs were composed and recorded DIY-style for their debut CD "Anything Goes". Despite the extremely short production time the result was more than convincing: Eight hate driven tracks of pure aggro and staggering brutality, provided with a massive yet honest sound. Even before the record was sent to the pressing plant the first available rough mixes caused enthusiastic reactions amongst hardcore aficionados all over the country. Word of mouth took over and soon the first gig offers with were reality. The CD was released in August 2006 through Deekay-Music / Colibri Records and is distributed by phonag.

In October 2006 Dan Dryer (formerly of Cataract) joined on bass, changing the team from a fivepiece to a sixpiece, adding even more power to the band sound.
