Less than a year after they gathered, the trio recorded their first album .." loud tunes & furry tales ..", an explosive collection of 13 tracks written over a 9 months period, spreading the band's unique blend of metal, rock, hardcore, and punk influences.
The album was released nationally through Several Bleeds records in April 2006 and has, so far, rather been highly acclaimed by the press and web critics.
Boasting a strong sense of riffing and songwriting, alongside singular demonic orientated artworks and lyrics, THE DAWN clearly blow fresh air on the French extreme scene and really intend to spit their venom on every possible stage.
In its only one year existence, the trio was lucky to share the stage with names like Cephalic Carnage, Knut, Disturb, Courtesy Blush etc... showing they can appear and perform in almost every type of heavy music event without shaking.
