MORNING AFTER "Through the eyes of the enemy" (cd)
Morning After is a Hardcore band from Lahti, Finland, founded in 1995. MA plays NYC-style metal influenced Hardcore with a Finnish edge. The band has played a shit load of gigs and is always at its best in a live situation. They have previously released three D-I-Y CDs with very limited editions which are sold out. 2001 Rooster Records released full lenght "Throught The Eyes Of The Enemy" witch received very good response. The year 2003 brings out new Morning After cd. The CD is entitled "True Drama". The CD contains eleven songs of very intense and anger filled hardcore and it is recorded at one of the best metal studios in Finland, Astia-studio.
How does Morning After sound like ?
Think a mix of Madball, Stigmata and Hatebreed and you get the right idea.. Fucking great! Straight forward, honest, in your face HardCore. Very professional production.
Although the subjects of their songs are mainly negative and lack of hope, the guys themselves are a bunch of funloving, beerdrinking bastards who make your night a night to remember. The fuse is lit for the new era on finnish hardcore so the rest of the world will just have to get used to the idea of having a bunch of cunts, such as morning after around, raising hell and spreading the streetwise gospel of business city hardcore!

DOWN MY THROAT "Real heroes die" (cd)
Founded in 1996, Down My Throat's history is the longest one in the young Helsinki scene. Back when they started they played shitty shows for about 6 people, in shitty venues and with really shitty punk rock bands. Over the years things have changed and Down My Throat's technical in-your-face beating is very much appreciated all over Finland. The feedback from the rest of the world isn't all that bad either, and their concert schedule is about to turn international with the new album titled "Real Heroes Die" getting noticed.
The style of music Down My Throat plays isn't the easiest to describe. The technicality and progress in the music seem to blend right in with the straightforwardness, creating an original concept. Many different styles and influences reach over in every song, as the parts blend smoothly to form a solid and innovative sound.
Musically Down My Throat are definately pushing the boundaries of what is considered to be hardcore. Comparisons are hard to make, but if there was a gun to my head I might label Down My Throat as a hybrid of 108, early Integrity, Quicksand and some 80's trash metal bands. Or maybe I wouldn't, maybe they deserve their own category ... however, they are worth checking out.
The release of Down My Throat's 7" in 1998 marked the birth of Full House Records. After that they kicked it as the first band on the "Building A Legacy" compilation, and a compilation on Chicago's Thornz Records called "Step To The Plate". Now in 2001 we are proud to introduce this full length album by these Helsinki hardcore pioneers. "Real Heroes Die" is a new cornerstone in the Full House catalog, and it's the first time Down My Throat have recorded with the kind of production and budget that they deserve. Listen to it, and you'll hear that Finnish hardcore is now only entering its musical prime.

BACK AGAINST THE WALL "Down to earth" (cd)
The city of Turku on the west coast of Finland brings you one of the bands we are very proud to have in our family, Back Against The Wall. The slightly oi!-influenced street punk rock with the occational mosh parts and groovy guitar solos is a very interesting package. "The band's style is very catchy and unique, there isn't another band like them in Finland, maybe not even Europe", is how Full House's Kristian explained the label's interest in the band. "Their style of traditional punk rock is exactly what today's hardcore scene needs", he concluded.
The vocalist Harri Nieminen is well known in the Finnish hardcore community. He fronted the bands Today's Waste and Jury, these were the first ever Finnish straight edge hardcore bands in the late 80's / early 90's. And although BATW as a band doesn't have any political stances, he has remained straight edge and vegan through the years. This same dedication has brought him world class recognition in thai-boxing.
Back Against The Wall have previously released a demo and a 7", and now debut cd "Down To Earth" on Full House is spreading their message.
